The unemployment rate for returning veterans is still 12%, significantly higher than the national unemployment rate of 7.9%. We want to help change that.
It’s a tough job market for everybody right now, but returning veterans also have to struggle with making the transition from military to civilian life. This means re-evaluating career goals, identifying transferable skills, and learning how to present one’s military accomplishments in a way that makes them relevant and compelling for non-military employers.
We want to try to make that career transition easier for our veterans. To honor Veterans Day, we’re offering veterans free access to Big Interview, our online job interview training system, to help them perfect their job interview skills. We’re also giving away free one-on-one interview coaching sessions to a few lucky winners.
Big Interview includes 40+ lessons on interview best practices, a comprehensive question database, and a cutting-edge mock interview module that lets you practice your answers. Mock interviews cover 20+ industries, dozens of competencies, experience levels from intern to senior executive, and difficulty levels from basic to excruciatingly difficult.
